Join Our Team as a Conflict Resolution Facilitator

Are you passionate about fostering understanding and resolving conflicts? Do you possess strong communication and mediation skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact as a Conflict Resolution Facilitator at FundAction.

About Us
FundAction is dedicated to promoting harmony and productivity in diverse environments. We recognize the value of effectively resolving conflicts and creating positive outcomes for all parties involved.  This is why we need a person that could facilitate a monthly meeting to check how the dynamics of the coordination team (called Facilitation Group) are developing and to help them to work smoothly.

Position: Conflict Resolution Facilitator (also called Psychological/Counseling Supervisor)
Mode: full-remote
Type: Consultancy agreement (150€ a month for guiding one group meeting and sometimes a few individual meetings. This fee can potentially be increased according to the specific needs that might create more workload)
Mandate: the initial mandate is 8 months with the possibility of renewing it.

Key Responsibilities:
- Mediating disputes and facilitating discussions between conflicting parties.
- Creating a safe and respectful environment conducive to open communication.
- Identifying underlying issues and interests to guide the resolution process.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective solutions and agreements.
- Providing coaching and support to individuals and groups involved in conflicts.
- Maintaining neutrality and confidentiality throughout the facilitation process.
On concrete terms, you would have to guide a care meeting each month and if it is necessary you would also have individual/bilateral sessions with them or other FundAction’s members to support/help people experiencing conflicts or burnout.


Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an intersectional and feminist perspective.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution, mediation, or related fields.
- Ability to remain impartial, empathetic, and nonjudgmental.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Understanding of diverse perspectives and cultural sensitivities.
- Certification or training in conflict resolution is preferred but not required.
